Amazon buyer account was locked for using Thai credit card for delivery in USA, is it usual ?

And now I cannot contact Amazon because all emails are rejected and the only way seem to login into your account to send a message (but they deny me to do anything after login)

Any other solution ?

I have used my Bangkok Bank Visa CC not debit to order presents for family members at home never had an issue

Had a similar issue with Amazon UK, where they blocked my account.

 

They asked me to send identification etc, but however I sent it through the correct channels. it was always rejected.

 

Had a few phone conversations with support, but the Indians at the other end were not much cooperative.

 

Ended up registering a US Amazon account with the different email address.

Such things happen and they are for your own protection. But getting it resolved is tedious job for the user. Is there a chat support available after logging in the app or website?

 

Also for order payments , try paying via paypal. In this way  the order should go thorough smoothly. But again using your thai credit card will get you additional currency conversion charges. Check your bank's website for latest rates and charges.

if you open a new account they will close it

Which country are you in? Either way their customer support number works very well. just call them. They are very easy to deal with. If their international number doesn't work for some reason call the American number. That's probably better anyway.

i wanted to cancel my Amazon Prime but it proved impossible to do from Thailand.  The over seas number they publish is unavailable.  My Son, based in UK, did it for me.  As with all of these digital giants, they don't want to be bothered with customers, unless its to take money off them. 

My wife has used her BKK Bank and K Bank cards on both Amazon US and Amazon DE with no problems.

I also have a problem to confirm my amazon credit cards, they ask documents that we cannot provide from Thailand !!!

What is crazy is that even weeks after they do not unlock your account, even when they can be sure that the cards used to pay are legit !
