December 22, 20205 yr I'm under the impression that as of now there won't be further extensions granted after January 29. I realize this situation is fluid and a new announcement could come at any time. I was able to obtain an embassy letter extension and an additional affidavit extension allowing me to stay until stamped January 26 at MTT. Originally here on a 60 day TV from the USA. If I go back to MTT on January 19, will they probably issue me another 60 day extension because I'm applying prior to the January 29 cutoff? If I go back on the 25th or 26th and they refuse me a further COVID extension, would they likely grant me a 7 day emergency extension to allow for time to obtain a flight? Thanks for the advice. December 22, 20205 yr The 60 day extensions will be issued until January 29th. If they denied your extension you could get 7 days to leave the country after paying the 1900 baht fee.
February 6, 20215 yr Author @ubonjoe Meant to say thank you, I have not logged in for a while. I did get my extension, same as the last 6 months. With the news, I think I'm good for at least 1 more in late march. Please take care. Your advice is always appreciated.
