naka
Why do some people feel the need to "Quote" the OP's three screen's worth, and then add a single line reply of their own at the bottom. We've read the OP already ... Get It ! Sigh. Naka. Edited May 10, 2007 by naka

Insight
^ but this looks a bit crap. Seriously, would be good if there was a feature on the forum which disables posting any single quote more than x lines long.

John_Rambo
Always one of the more annoying features of this forum, which seems to be at epidemic levels. It's really just down to the denizens of this domain to spend a little bit of time and effort editing down their quotes to the relevant bits. It's not that hard. PhilHarries
^ but this looks a bit crap.Seriously, would be good if there was a feature on the forum which disables posting any single quote more than x lines long. In some cases this could extend to disabling any post over xxx words long. Only joking, I don't want to incur the wrath of the more erudite members. I agree with the sentiment, I also tend to quote only that part that is relevant to my reply.

Boon Mee
Speaking of quotes, here's one of my favorites: "The morning meal was served in traditional socialist fashion - very slowly, with the courses out of order so that the jelly arrived half an hour after the toast and the coffee didn't come until we'd called for the check. However, it was hard to be angry at a place that had ice cream, beer, and cigarettes on its breakfast menu." -- P.J. O'Rourke
