As mentioned I have an extension of stay based on marriage which got recently renewed.

I met the financial requirements using the income of the work permit.

 

Will I loose also the extension of stay in case the work permit get cancelled?

Could you explain why?
Actually I thought that the Non-O based on marriage is not depending on the work permit.

Thus "based on marriage".
I do know that a Non-B will be voided at the spot when the work permit is cancelled.

However, would be happy to get some background information or personal experience reports.

No it would not end.

He has a extension of stay based upon marriage. Only extensions of stay based upon working end when the job ends and the work permit is canceled.

The financial proof for the 40k baht income is only needed when applying for the extension.

Sorry but I think you are wrong. The extension will continue until the next one is  up due. By that time he can put 400 K in the bank. He is not on an Extension based a Business visa but a Non-O based on marriage.
