I like many bought a multi entry for 2029. I have just completed my retirement Visa no problem. I asked do I get credit for my multy entry Visa that I was unable to use I was told I have to apply as normal but no credit has anyone had a similar experience  .

Immigration would not give you a credit for a unused re-entry permit. They do not give refunds for anything.

If you mean a multiple re-entry permit (3800 Baht) paid for in 2020: forget it, get over it.

For the past 20 years when it was renewal time for my retirement ext I got the multi-re-entry at the same time, as I was making making frequent trips out of Thailand to the neighboring countries. Last July when I renewed my ext I didn't bother with the re-entry and saved myself 3,800 Bt plus a valuable page in my PP.
