Earliest report date for Extension of Stay

Featured Replies

What is the earliest date that you can report to Thai Immigration for an Extension of Stay?  I know this topic has been reported thousands of times, but I cannot find the information on any of the topics or forums.

You can apply for a extension up to 30 days early or 45 days at some offices.

If you are using Chonburi Immigration (Pattaya on Jomtien Soi 5), it is 30 days prior.

Based on reports to the Pattaya City Expats Club, it has been 30 days for the past several years, but they have been known to do it up to 45 days before if the person will be out of Thailand and not returning in time to do it within the 30 day window.

My experience says it is 45 days at Jomtien.

Nong Khai is 1 calendar month early.
