PHNOM PENH: Longtime Cambodian leader Hun Sen on Monday referred to Myanmar's military coup as "internal affairs" of the country and declined further comment.

"Cambodia does not comment on the internal affairs of any country at all, either within the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) framework or any other country," said Hun Sen, who himself seized full control in 1997 from his elected coalition partner and whose party has been in power since.

Echos Prawit....of course it's an internal thing.....but by not condemning the coup, means it's fine.

SE Asia is becoming primarily military run and China loves it!

Haha, wouldn't he just !

You cannot expect an ex-Khmer Rouge leader to condemn another Country under an army coup!! Where do you think Uncle Tu gets his visions from.????????????????????????????????

Prayuth has gone much further . He has said nothing at all.

Said one dictator to another.

It puts another slant on the Three Supremes.

So sorry to hear about the problems in Myanmar and for it's people. China and Russia have no complaint with takeover by the military coup - wonder why? The constitution included some clause that a military takeover was acceptable in certain circumstances. The democratic election last November was probably won straight and fair from the apparent results. The military party lost and were beaten by a country mile. Now the military have taken over for 12 months. What's the betting that the constitution will be re-written (similar to a certain unnamed neighbouring country) that certain parties have an almost insurmoutable advantage? Surely could never be so...

who can blame him? the burma's military junta is doing exactly what he has been doing for many years, i.e. refusing to comply with democracy rules
