February 11, 20215 yr i had a similar situation back home and opted for the aluminum, but had painted them. once they are pained they look the same, since most aluminum ones are powder coated.

Ya but they don't have that 'heavy' feel about them. Great for outside windows and doors but too light IMHO for an inside archway.
