Hello there!

 

I arrived to Thailand a few days ago, currently in ASQ. I was planning to change my TR visa to ED visa as soon as I get out, but the school tells me that the MOE process may take around 30 days, then once I have it and when applying for the visa I must not have less than 15 days left on my tourist visa. This is just too tight taking into account the quarantine, and I'm getting out on Makha Bucha day will be closed to start any process till next Monday.

 

Is it still possible to switch to ED visa being on a 30-day or 60-day extension?

A non-ed visa can be applied for while on a 30 day extension or the 60 day covid 19 extension.
