Amanda Holden is “devastated” she had to break lockdown rules to visit her elderly parents in Cornwall, according to her agent.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge said she made the trip after receiving a “distressing telephone call from her elderly father on Friday afternoon”, he said in a statement.

According to The Sun, she has been reported to police over the journey.

“Amanda is aware that all families are going through difficulty during these turbulent times but received a distressing telephone call from her elderly father on Friday afternoon,” the statement added.

She was NOT devastated to have made the trip. She was devastated that it was discovered that she made the trip, and it was widely reported.

Not sure why seeing ones elderly parents is all of a sudden considered unacceptable. There is a sense of precaution, and then there is extremism.

What a selfish woman, don't care about anybody only herself.????????

Well, she is part of the elite set. Good for me, but not for thee. Most of us will complain and call it out, but will 'the people' vote in new governments to change it. Doubtful.

Two tiered justice.
Somebodies:  Get a pat on the head, a biscuit, and a pass on their actions by the media and government officials.
Commoners: Get arrested, fined, and jailed while being publicly ostracised as granny-killers.
