Using and printing the fillable templates

Featured Replies

I tried the online fillable template for extension of stay, posted in one of the stickies at the top of this forum.

Opened it, completed it, and everything looked fine.

I then selected print, and at once everything I had entered showed up in elephant size letters.

Tried a different browser, with same result.

Any workaround with this?

Download form and fill it in with a pen.

Takes couple of minutes.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that is not what I consider a workaround.

I have used it in previous years, and it would print normal, so something must have changed

Fine. By the time you get it sorted you could have had it sorted very simply already.

I would try to restart my PC. After that I would download and open in the Adobe software and use FILL AND SIGN feature to enter the text and then print. Hope that works.

What program were you using to open and complete the TM7 form?

It seems there might also be a problem with print settings causing the large font.

I open it in Firefox or Chrome. The large font appears right when pressing print

This is when I select save to PDF, so no print settings involved yet

When I click the form to download it on Chrome it opens in Adobe Acrobat reader.

You should try opening with a PDF reader instead of your browser.

It should just be saved as a PDF. Not save to a PDF.

Edit: Opened form in Adobe Reader. Typed in some lines. From prin preview.

I didn't have a reader software on my PC, since browsers have a PDF function, but I downloaded Slim reader and that solved the issue.

Thanks

I used to use the fillable TM7 form and for two years on the trot the IO would throw it in the bin and print a new one from their PC, move the passport photo across and ask me to sign.

For the next 3 years I never bothered as they printed it off.

Last year they asked me for the completed TM7, which they supplied and I completed by hand.

Then they threw it in the bin and printed it off again - go figure.

Waste of time and paper.

You might like to try downloading this version of the TM7 form:-

https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/simple-file-list2/form-download/1486547929418.pdf

and then complete it using the Adobe Acrobat "Fill and Sign" facility (free of charge).

Printing-wise this works fine with the Chrome browser in my experience.
