The prime minister and nine Cabinet members managed to sail through the recent censure vote, but the voting has rejiggered a rift between the coalition’s two largest partners. Six MPs from coalition-leader Palang Pracharath abstained from the vote on Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob of the Bhumjaithai Party, angering its politicians. Good on them for standing up to them for what they believe (and most normal people also can see) rather than just following party lines, from a party that has a history of being deceitful and deflecting. A lot more to this story than just attention seeking.

As you say, a lot more to this story than just attention seeking. 1 1
