Insurance cover advice for travellers entering Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi Folks, I recently had an experience coming into BKK. Although I had full cover for any insurance needed, I had some difficulty to provide the evidence. In summary I recommend that travellers should thoroughly check that not only he has cover, but that he has detailed evidence of it to show the authorities.

I have attached a file with the story.

Happy travelling

Like your thinking. OP had zero posts prior to trogan horse.

Are you implying that one needs both Thai insurance cover and an international  policy from your departure country?

If it wasn't a PDF file I might of been worried. No problem opening it on my computer that is well protected.

Yes I been looking at insurance. And some say covid cover included  but when you look at the cover  amount in currency.  No where near covers the covid cover needed to enter Thailand. So  be3 careful.

A breakdown of your total costs would have been useful ????
