Hello All,

I am in need of updated information on getting a 1 year multi entry Non imm. "O" Visa from any local Asian Embassy/Consulate. Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, etc. Requirements? Time frame? Etc. I have tried to call the ones I could find numbers for and could not get through or was wrong number. Sent e-mails and most had wrong e-mail address.

I am married to a Thai and have the Cert. Need to go next week as my current stay expires and my old Business Visa has expired.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are married to a Thai, Singapore Embassy has been reported to give multi entry by showing 400k in bank and marriage certificatte.

Apply in the morning and pick-up next afternoon

By all reports it still seems that KL or Penang are the best bet (least problematic) for a Non O single entry.  KL is even reported to have given multiple entry Non O visas on occassions.

Make sure you have copies of all your wifes documents, preferably signed by her and the original of your marriage certificate for verification by the Visa Application Officer.

Airasia is also cheap enough.

Give us a report when you come back and let us know how you went.

If you have a bank account somewhere that shows 400k or more to support your living for the next year Singapore is your best choice. Take marriage certificate and to be safe also have a signed/dated copy of her ID card (although this has not reportedly been required).

If you do not have the proof of funds KL would be the best choice. They will sometimes issue a multi entry, but not always. Take above proof.

Normal procedure at most Consulates is apply morning and pick up next workday afternoon.
