snopz
Hi, My gal's sis is looking for a Thai college that offers accounting or marketing courses that lead to a vocational certificate. Since many of you guys may be English teachers, any recommendations??? Please also let us know the course fees, we can't afford super high fees like that at Payap. Thanks a lot. Payap has two options; An International College with courses taught entirely in English and a Thai College which is not expensive compared to the International college. Best thing to do is go to the web site at www.payap.ac.th and check it out . good luck.
calibanjr.
Is this for a Thai studying in Thai? CM Rajabhat is the local Royal-founded school, sort of like "CM State U".
DrFisher
CMU offers many classes and is affordable, as CMU is a government school if you take the entrance examination and do well the government picks up a large part of the cost.
PeaceBlondie
There are several commercial colleges in CMai. Chiang Mai International Business College (called locally 'ChiangMaiInter') is on the superhighway, beyond the last intersection heading south. There's Lanna Commercial College, and the one (Sritana?) just west of Central Kad Kaew on Huay Kaew road, and there are others. Here, a college is not a university, but a secondary/tertiary school above Matayom 3 (American 9th grade). Most of them are profit making and cost more than a govt. school.
