BANGKOK (NNT) - Supreme Pharmatech, a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in Thailand, plans to import 10,000 doses of the world’s first COVID-19 vaccine for animals.

 

Supreme Pharmatech CEO, Milint Wintarasiri, said the company is in negotiations with the manufacturer, Carnivac-Cov, to import the vaccine.

 

She said that this is a good opportunity to contribute to the health of animals, as many people spend time in close proximity to them. It will help reduce the risk of infection, and now is an appropriate time, since vaccination of humans has begun.

 

According to Russian media, "Carnivac-Cov" has been shown to protect against COVID-19 in dogs, cats, arctic foxes, mink, foxes and other animals, with few side-effects.

I expect that a breed of animal will be blamed for spreading Covid, next.

 

Just like what is happening in the UK, with Badgers being blamed for passing on Bovine TB.

 

Whichever way one looks at it, there be money to be made.

Maybe just another way to get this into people who don't want the vaccine by injecting it into the animals people consume

Maybe us expats can have a chance, after all soi dogs has been inoculated?

And we will have to get apps for each pet we have and it will be a legal requirement to get each pet vaccinated each year for a few thousand baht a time. 

 

Then if you dont get Fluffy the cat vaccinated people will be calling for you to get locked up as you are selfish crazy person putting vulnerable innocent people at risk of getting Covid..

This idea will get stamped on unless very, very thickly padded brown envelopes are offered to 'Important People' !

Happy days folks, I've always said that us farang would get vaxxed in Thailand after they vaxxed all the soi dogs...   We're one step closer now...  :):)

I've met more dogs I like than people I like. Simple really.

a great way to get rid of soi dogs just add a bit more to it
