Swelters
Our "Black Hole" mosquito trap is yielding a bounty (read dozens) of small black winged insects about 0.5-1 mm in size since the rains began this month. Never saw them before that. May be small enough to be passing through the holes in our screens. Don't seem to bother me but the wife is complaining vigorously of night itches. ANyone have any idea on these critters? Swelters
lotus eater
YES, ME TOO. In my case I am the victim and my partner is oblivious to the problem. And I'm bitten during the day too. Was worried that they might be mosquitos - the dangerous daytime sort. . Any solutions? I've tried creams and mosquito repellent to no avail. Keeping the fan at hurricane speed directed at exposed parts helps a bit at night, at least so I think. Is this an annual problem in the rains? How much longer?
