toybits Posted May 24, 2007 Share Posted May 24, 2007 There is a tribal group in Thailand that considers snakes to be creatures of the Devil. If they see a snake, it brings ill omen. I heard from a group of trekkers that they were shocked when one of their porters that belonged to this tribe killed a snake that happened to cross their path. Such a thing would probably not be sanctioned by the SPCA in the UK. Not Here! One example of when East clashes with the West.
