Popular Post Jonathan Fairfield
The misunderstanding between the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), over the allocation of COVID-19 vaccines, appears to have be resolved, at least for now. Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told the media today (Monday) that he called Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang this morning to clear up any misunderstandings between his ministry and the BMA about the allocation of vaccines, after several city-run hospitals postponed vaccination appointments today due to vaccine shortages. He said the misunderstandings have been settled, adding that whenever new lots of vaccine, be they Chinese-made Sinovac or locally-produced AstraZeneca, are received by the MoPH, they will be immediately passed to the BMA and other provinces as planned. lopburi3
Taken with today's news that all inoculation sites in Bangkok (not just private hospitals) are closed from 15 Jun until further notice.
jojothai
Misunderstanding!!! Is this a translation issue? I checked the Thai for lies, untrue, falsehood, deception and none seem to match "misunderstanding". So we have to accept that there is a misunderstanding, They do not understand how to tell the truth.

Asquith Production
If the government says its a misunderstanding then they are saying the person they have given instructions to got it wrong and not them. With so many misunderstandings how about some clear concise instructions and direction from the top for a change.

newnative
...'whenever vaccines arrive...' Uh oh. So, no idea whatsoever when that might be. Just...whenever. Yikes. Well, whenever the vaccines decide to show up, if they ever do, rest assured we will pass them along...well, whenever. So, conflict settled. Now, back to our leisurely rollout of no vaccines.

Please note that a committee has ruled that the description 'hub is to be replaced with the description 'capital' to avoid any misunderstanding.
