The Royal Government has announced that restaurants will be prohibited from serving dine-in customers and will only be allowed to serve take-away meals for 2 weeks starting from midnight Thursday, to ensure health and safety in light of the emergence of the ‘Delta’ variant in Cambodia – ‘except for restaurants and canteens, which can ensure the safety of health, especially the maintenance  of the security gap between individuals and society.’

During the implementation of this campaign, to be executed from midnight Thursday 29th July throughout the country for a period of two weeks until August 12, no gatherings outside of the family premises, and other activities which cannot enforce social distancing are permitted.

The Royal Government of Cambodia issued the circular at 2200 hours on July 28th, detailing 11 measures that are to be taken nationwide to curb the spread of COVID-19, especially the Delta Variant which is now on a surge.
