I've previously posted the best description of this situation is we feel like we are languishing:

failing to make progress or be successful.

These simple things can help to cope:

Is the one thing to get your heart rate up code for sex? IMO it'd be sad to be living in LOS and missing out altogether.

I do not worry so much about myself.

Instead, the thing that causes me most worry is worrying about others.

We are not even half-through this tribulation.  And so, I worry that the worst might be yet to come.

As resources, financial resources, become depleted over time, then families will be less resilient.

I don't really give a crp about myself, so much, but I more feel sorry for others.

We still have a long row to hoe before the world is back to normal.

One could be excused for asking what was "normal" about life before corona? In my recollection the western world was going somewhat crazy with nonsense about gender, PC and wokeness. I don't recall much "normality" in evidence.
