Thailand
All over I would guess but here in Chiang Mai we buy from Makro mainly but also get deliveries of sliced / diced lamb for hotpot.

Popular Post steven100
actually it's funny with Thai's and lamb, they don't eat lamb because they says it smells ' so the slop they eat sometimes doesn't smell .. right ? Popular Post norfolkandchance
OP. Frozen or fresh. Major retailers stock limited frozen lamb. For fresh Lamb/Goat. I did the following. Contact the nearest Ministry of Agriculture for any registered farms in your area. Ask Thai’s. Although they do not generally eat it, they might point you in the right direction. Ask at local meat markets. If there is a Muslim community ask them. Ask a Vet. I eventually found a registered Lamb/Goat farm some 10 Km from my home. The Vet organised the dispatch and butchering. ( 20-30 kg ) Be prepared to lose nearly half of the live weight. Price wise worked out at 300 baht a kilo all in. All in all a bit of leg work but well pleased that I get all the cuts of meat. If I could only find some decent beef. Good luck. 2
Popular Post Tropicalevo
Tops supermarket and Makro here on Samui both sell fresh and frozen lamb. Same elsewhere? Maybe try hotel food suppliers in your area?

Any beef I've had has been far too chewy and was given to the dog.
