MANILA, Philippines — Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City was crowned as new Miss Universe Philippines 2021 in a live event beamed from Hennan Resorts in Panglao, Bohol tonight.

From hundreds of aspirants, 100 were selected as candidates, which was further trimmed down to 75, then to 50 and to 30 after several virtual challenges, interviews, and preliminary competitions.

 

From 30, 28 finalists flew to Bohol for the finals.

 

As new Miss Universe Philippines 2021, the winner will represent the country at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant later this year in Israel.
