October 9, 20214 yr I saw some mackerel (I think as a shiny blue back) though smaller in the market. Didn't pick any up but may if anyone has any ways to cook it. I thought of grilling....any other ways or recipes? As a kid I remember it was full of bones and would catch 5 or 6 on a line of feathers. Cheers. Edited October 9, 20214 yr by james.d
October 9, 20214 yr Japanese mackerel or Saba. Tastes much the same that which I used to catch off Cornwall as a kid. Grilled or pan fried is fine and enjoy a good healthy meal.
