Dogmatix
5 hours ago, ThailandRyan said: Nice to see that the cases on ventilators are improving as the deaths start to definitely trend downward, however cases are still entering the hospitals and facilities on an almost even basis with discharges. In order for Thailand to open up the country they need to ensure that their is a certain percentage of beds available in case thigs go pear shaped. Of course this is my view, and at a flatline and the continued daily cases occurring and needing treatment I wonder what the available space is as of now. Right. A few cases of foreigners denied beds in ICUs (sick with COVID or other ailments) because a new spike used up all available beds would be a big set back for TAT. Even paying Lalisa and Bocelli 200 million to sing away the blues at New Year would not help tourist bookings. The maid's teenage daughter had very bad side effects from Pfizer in Ubon with fever and breathing difficulties. All the local hospitals refused to take her because they were already full. Fortunately she got better without medical assistance. Edited October 18, 2021 by Dogmatix
