Looking for expat advice in Nong Khai

Hello,

Are there any expat groups I can contact in Nong Khai? I looking for a decent home and have some furniture

I'm new to Nong Khai although I've been resident in Thailnd for many years. I've just returned to Thailand on October 7. I was resident in the south in Phuket and Songkhla province since may 2010. In the 90's I worked in Bangkok..

I'm an artist and paint acrylic and oil, sketch and an ex 14/19 light horse and 2 commando Co 1 RAR Australia Defense Force 1959-1966.

Yes so true. Not knowing Nong Khai I wouldn't know where to go. Yes many parents are proud of their kids, I have 5 and at 81 yo I'm lucky to have my 8 yo girl April Williams

My daughter was given a $7000 AUD scholarship to Yarralinda private school in Lilydale Victoria. The only student lucky enough to get it there  She studies Thai English and mandarin. The reasons we came back to Thailand are manyfold, cost of living, including rent $380/ week bitterly cold winter, power and gas heating costs but most of all  repeated lockdowns. Because of the lockdowns she had to study Thai and mandarin by zoom Sumittra private school Songkhla.

My eldest daughter also gifted with an IQ of 141 is married to professor at a Melbourne university. My 3rd daughter of 4 daughters is also clever and works for IMed Radiology on Melbourne. My 8 year old girl only started learning English from December 2019 and speaks as good as anyone born in Australia. She was born in Nong Khai. I'm sorry I returned to Australia and so relieved to get back. I understand your cynicism as I agree but in this case I'm proud to confirm she is gifted. Thanks for your answer

Are you gifted same as your daughter   ?

I'm looking for someone gifted,  but more so gifted with money.  

Accommodation is no issue as hotels are really cheap, so you can stay in a hotel for a couple of weeks and look around,  that way you can see what you paying for.

anyway,  getting back to the gifted one   !!   are you gifted with money  ?    unfortunately i'm in Bangkok but i can go to Nong Khai anytime.
