Director of the Department of Land Transport Jirut Wisanjit spoke to Daily News after decisions made by the CCSA to reopen Thailand.

He said that in line with the recommendations the ban on overnight public transport and the movement of goods would continue in seven deep red provinces.

These are Chanthaburi, Tak, Nakhon Sri Thammarat and the four far south provinces of Pattani, Yala, Naratiwas and Songkhla.

The bottom line is that public buses and vans cannot use the roads from 11 pm to 3 am.

This will continue to at least November 15th, potential tourists should note.
