Manassas
The Sandbox program lists Chiang Mai as an approved entry point. However, using the govt link and Agoda there are no AQ hotels listed. Can anybody speak to this conundrum?
ubonjoe
The sandbox is allowed in Chiang Mai but at this time there are no scheduled commercial international flights to there. There has only been one charter flight to there for the sandbox as far as I know. At other sandboxes the hotels and etc were listed as SHA+ instead of AQ. lordblackader
https://asq.in.th/chiang-mai-sandbox-hotels That said, you have to fly directly into Chiang Mai from abroad to utilize one. While being called a "charter," there is currently one scheduled flight a week return from South Korea through to February. There's talk of more flights from South Korea and an AirAsia service from KL possibly later this month or December but nothing confirmed as yet.
