snoop1130
BANGKOK (NNT) - The National Health Security Office (NHSO) has revised disbursement procedures for its Home Isolation program to provide faster financial assistance to healthcare service providers. According to NHSO Secretary-General Jadet Thammathat-Aree, the NHSO implemented these changes in response to concerns from healthcare providers regarding delays in receiving assistance. Instead of receiving lump sum transfers, service providers will now earn 1,000 baht per week during the period when they provide treatment to COVID-19 patients. They are also eligible for reimbursement from expenditures included on the following list: 1. RT-PCR Test payments at 1,000-1,2000 baht/test, sample delivery fees of 100 baht, and miscellaneous laboratory fees of 200 baht 2. Daily caretaker wages without meals at 600 baht/day and wages including three meals at 1,000 baht/day 3. Equipment fees for digital thermometers and oximeters at 1,000 baht/person Officials will check if the equipment listed is actually used for patients. 4. Medicine fees used for specialized treatments at 7,200 baht/person 5. Payments for transportation and vehicle cleaning at 1,400 baht 6. Chest radiography fee at 100 baht 7. Oxygen supply for patients at 450 baht/day Healthcare providers can verify their patients under the HI program by texting @nhso to LINE OA. 1,000 baht will be transferred to providers once the verification is completed. Recovered HI patients must also complete an evaluation for their COVID-19 medication at home using the Line OA @nhso. The NHSO will include the data in its database and e-Claim medical service platform to facilitate faster reimbursement for all parties involved. Officials can spend less time confirming patients while reducing the number of complaints received from healthcare providers. -- © Copyright NNT 2021-12-29 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates
