Alphim
Good Morning, I am trying to get everything together for when the Thailand Pass starts up again. With being 78 years of age there seems to be a problem getting Covid 19 Medical Insurance. I have tried AXA and Luma both say limited up to 74 years of age. I then tried https://covid19. tgia.org, but the list of countries does not show South Africa. I know that the country was not on the Governments original approved list but they were put on it some weeks back. Could it be the Insurance company not updated their list? Whatever, can anybody please advise a company that offers medical insurance to 78 year olds resident in South Africa. Than you.
ubonjoe
It appears to be an error on their site. https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail Perhaps try contacting them about the insurance. For the other companies you need to be sure you tell them you only need the insurance for entry to the country. I am sure their are companies doing the short term insurance for those over 75. Thank you Ubonjoe, I have sent email asking if the list was out of date, no response yet. I will try the above address you sent.

Hi Ubonjoe, I tried the above address you kindly sent, it is exactly the same as the Covid19.tgia.com, no South Africa mentioned. I have sent email asking, perhaps I should get my wife to phone them.
