RegularGuy77
Hello, When someone from the US is trying to call me in Thailand. I get confused by the telephone number I should give them. i know the country code is +66 but the confusion begins with the leading 0 digit in the traditional 3 digit area code. For my number I have 9 digits with the first number being 0. So, do I give the US caller 9 digits or drop the leading 0 and just provide 8 digits? Thanks in advance

Jeffr2
LOL. Yes, confusing! They should dial the +66 like you know, then the rest of the number WITHOUT the "0". So... 0123456789 becomes +66123456789

Paulaew
Just drop the leading zero ... it works that way for a lot of countries. I remember being confused by this myself way back when. It's something you go through, like chicken pox or adolescence. Paul Laew
