What is the govt's plan for national holiday and long weekends?

Will it be beginning with Makha Bucha day or ending with Makha Bucha day?

Here in Pattaya, it could go on for a week or more.

Ah, the nonsense of beer stocking up again day soon then. 

Only the 16th is a official holiday.

The confusion for me is that the holiday falls on a Wednesday so its unsure which weekend will be the long one-the one before or after the holiday.

It is just a one day holiday. If the cabinet had added any additional days it would be on the list of holidays.

Well, past history in Pattaya tells us that Thai people will always try to make a 4 day weekend out of any holiday.
