According to Deputy Government Spokesperson Traisuree Traisoranakul, the prime minister is pleased with last year’s economic performance. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha vowed today (Monday) to push full steam ahead to restore the national economy, hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, in conjunction with efforts to contain the spread of the disease. It is likely the economy has contracted 10-15% overall, from 2019. Foreign investment is down, the real estate market is in the toilet, new car sales are way, way down, thousands of hotels and tourism related businesses are either bankrupt or way down. Suicides, homelessness and unemployment are way up. The economic destruction is devastating. Stop the games. Stop the lies. Resign now Cha Cha.
