next appointment available for them to call round 3.5 days time ....

I rang to complain and the lady said she would contact the tech guys for an emergency appointment and to wait for a new text

new text just in ... no other appointments available ....

I dunno how much more of this I can take ...

The reality is often better- friend of mine down there reported and they cam the next day.

They generally are very good at reponse speed from what Ive heard.

Get your self a back-up plan if the connection is crucial.

not crucial, but nice to have ... a few months back they gave an appointment and didn't turn up, got another appointment and they didn't turn up for that either ...

OP, ask yourself - do I really need fiber?

I have AIS TP-Link pocket WiFi, has functioned flawlessly, 100 GB / month and considerably cheaper than fiber.

The internet in my shed is from DTAC via a TP Link 4G wi-fi router. The modem cost maybe 1500 baht, and the 12-month data SIM is about 1800 baht. No bottlenecks streaming audio and video across 3 or 4 devices, Netflix, test cricket, NFL, etc..

The main house has 3BB/AIS fiber for 745 baht/month. Last year there was some connectivity issues in the evenings that required several service calls, all done on time. They eventually solved the external issue but not before they upgraded the Huawei GPON mesh router for free.
