I’m considering heading over to White Sand Beach, Koh Chang, for a bit of mongering… 😜
(Change of venue is always good for the soul! 😂)

I’ll be riding over on the bike, but Google Maps is currently showing several stretches of Route 3 (Sukhumvit) as still flooded as of 07:00 this morning, 30/09.

So, has anyone travelled Route 3 towards Koh Chang over the last few days?

If so, what were the road conditions actually like? Any serious flooding, or is Google Maps just being its usual dramatic queen again ? 😂

Any recent first-hand info would be much appreciated before I point the trusty steed towards the coast!

Doubt you will get much mongering. I was there 3 weeks ago and it was very quiet then, maybe more so now. Only a few girls in the bars still open. If that's the reason for going i wouldn't bother. Take a good book.

Save your petrol. The only "mongering" you are going to find on White Sand Beach these days is fishmongering or maybe some ironmongering if a garage is open. You're are better off turning right around and heading back to Pattaya before you drown the bike.
