Consular team activities in January - February 2022

Recommended Posts

It’s been a while since our latest update and a lot has happened in the past couple of months.

It’s only the first two months of 2022, and it’s already been busy for us. The team dealt with 50 welfare cases involving vulnerable British people and 17 hospitalisations. We provided support to 61 bereaved families, 9 victims of crimes, and 4 child welfare cases. We worked with Thai authorities on a high-profile murder case. We also worked with police on 6 arrests and 7 missing person cases.

On the notarial side we provided 259 certifications of passport copy, 229 affirmations of marriage, 51 affirmations of residency, and 3 certifications of Driving licences.

We also dealt with a lot of changes on entry requirements implemented by Thai government to make sure that information on GOV.UK is current. Sign up to our Travel Advice to stay up to date about this and other important updates.
