Unidentified rider seriously injured after crashing his motorbike into a trailer truck in Chonburi

Chonburi – An unidentified driver has sustained severe injuries after he crashed his motorbike into a parked trailer truck in the Phan Thong district earlier this week.

 

Emergency responders were notified of the accident on the Phan Thong – Huapai Road in the Na Pradoo sub-district on the evening of March 17th, 2022.

 

They arrived at the scene to find a male, who appeared to be Thai, who had sustained severe head injuries lying on the road. No identification document was found with him.

Yup...  If the truck was parked up for the night (as it seems) - no lights, quite dangerous. 

 

That said, it continually astonishes me how many motorcyclists (and drivers) will drive straight into a stationary object....  the utter lack of attention and total disregard for their own safety is mind boggling.... 

 

Whats the betting - No helmet and booze involved ?

not another thai driving incident !!!  truck has no lights on ????  or/and maybe the bike rider the same - common for thai  drivers!!

As he had no ID, is it safe to assume he had no license? Not that a license would stop this from happening....

Or parked totally off the road.

Yes.  Tree branches on the road.  International warning sign of "Stationary Vehicle Ahead".  Guess they don't sell Safety triangles, or road flares, or orange collapsible cones, or flashing emergency flashlights where this guy lives.  And, how much did the bike rider have to drink prior to his ride?  Just asking.
