Regardless of your feelings about her politics or her boss Bill Clinton, her personal story is compelling.

 

The first woman secretary of state.

 

From Czech refugee to her nation's top diplomat. That's the kind of American story that strengthened America's brand internationally before our more recent darker times.

 

Discovered she was a Jew later in life.

 

I have a perhaps ironic personal story relating to her.

 

I was touring what's left of Jewish Prague specifically an old Jewish cemetary and surprise surprise, guess who's visiting at the same time?

 

The US Secretary of State.

 

Of course we were inconvenienced for security reasons but still quite a memory.
