aldriglikvid
Hi, I'm contemplating arranging a parcel from my home country containing computer parts in the range 2-3kg, via the national post carrier. Would this stuff be taxed/vated to oblivion such as a package from DHL?
phetphet
It might get through unchecked, but they seem to get, x-rayed, opened a lot more than they used to. Best to under value items on the form the post give sender to complete, to try and reduce any potential tax. But that's a risk you or sender have to contemplate. There is a Thai customs website where you can find the taxes and duty rates, but I can't remember the address. muratremix
Don't do it. They can slap you with 30% customs + 7% vat + carrier customs clearance fees. Just have someone bring it in their luggages as personal items.
