The Thai cabinet rejected the Move Forward Party’s draft Progressive Liquor Bill yesterday (Tuesday), which seeks to liberalise the production of liquor for non-commercial purpose.

 

Deputy Government Spokesperson Rachada Dhnadirek said that the cabinet rejected the bill because liquor production for non-commercial purposes is already possible, provided that the production process complies with quality and environmental controls, to ensure the safety of those who consume it.

 

She said that the cabinet has instructed the Finance Ministry to amend its regulations regarding liquor production in a way that does not restrict the right of the public to produce liquor for non-commercial purposes.

This is a non-starter, with the current regime side-stepping the proposal by bouncing it to the ministry of finance.

 

I guess you can home brew as long as the alcohol content is less than 0.2%. ????

If it had come from the PPRP or the BJT parties, it probably would have passed.

 

As it came from The Move Forward Party it was rejected. What a surprise, not.

It is like Putin demacracy - it is me or I will wipe out anyone that stands in my way - unfortunately they are all military - that is the landscape in Thailand - yes ok they are not poisoning people but they are getting rid of them one way or another 

 

It will not work - Prayuth and his mates Anutin and Prawit are pretty much history as far as I can see - the people of Thailand hate them with a vengence, they know what they are doing and will no longer put up with it - it is not Red or Yellow - it is all of the people united against these theives and power mongers
