One step forward two steps back…the Will is not there to minimize PM 2.5 levels to acceptable levels…

 

never confuse activity with achievement (see above). there is no program in place to get a handle on the situation. Gov doesn’t see/have a big picture approach….

There should have been a "Rapid Action" chopper on standby ready to fly out and pick him up as he was lighting the fires, not just talk about what to do. But that is Thai officialdom.

To be fair, it only takes one uneducated moron with a 10 baht lighter to start a massive fire with not much chance of being caught.

 

This is a problem that is difficult to police and will continue for years to come.
