Bangkok – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O’Cha today, May 1st, ordered the relevant authorities to prevent H3N8 bird flu import to Thailand after the first human case was discovered in China last week.

Government spokesperson Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana told the Associated Press that the Prime Minister closely monitored the situation of the H3N8 bird flu in China and ordered the relevant agencies to prepare and prevent avian influenza into Thailand.

Fearless leader ain't gonna chicken out then.

Another China present.

There must be more than we know.
China in lockdown for a few Covid cases 555

Pray-hoot should assign a soldier to monitor each chicken in the country.  Better use those new Humvees and planes and subs and other useless military hardware where he spent billions. Chickens at least have value to the general population.  555

The solution has arrived, chicken is now almost the same price as beef per kilo. We will all be eating steak ????

Just when you thought if was safe to come out of the water.

What exactly is strict surveillance

- quaratine for anyone who has recently been in China?

- closure of all parks where migrating birds are known to flock?

... it seems as if nothing has been learned. It looks like everything here is just "wait and see" (nothing pro-active) ... and if it's a disaster, then, oh well, "here we go again."

Come on Thailand! Put your thinking hats on! Remember, the last disaster started like this:1610927728179.jpg.38e954d9c5038d8ce8c43950988e2963.jpg
