Thailand on Friday (May 6) reported 7,705 new COVID-19 cases, 11,252 recoveries and 62 additional deaths over the past 24 hours.

Friday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 4,308,319 with 28,976 deaths.

The news comes as the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will open clinics at its nine hospitals to treat patients suffering from Long COVID, starting next Monday.

Permanent Secretary of the BMA, Khachit Chatchavanich, said today (Thursday) that patients who are eligible to receive treatment at these clinics must have recovered from their COVID-19 infection for more than a month, with the services focusing on monitoring their post-COVID symptoms.**

I can not remember when Covid cases were this low...is it real and truly transparent or did they only test twice the number of positives....

Long Covid cases to begin being treated?  Why just start treating them now as they have been around for awhile....

As they are testing at less than 25% they maybe can just stop testing and reporting altogether .

PCR test positive cases, total of 7,705 official new infections. 62 official covid deaths recorded.

Rapid tests positive cases, 5,288 bringing the total of PCR and ATK results to 12,993

Anyone else not trust these numbers?

Who does?

It’s just a coincidence.  Declining numbers and the gradual reopening of the country.  Now back to listening to Art Bell and Coast to Coast(some Americans of a certain age will know whoI am talking about).

Nice to see the numbers dropping again. Hope these numbers are reasonably accurate. Worldometer seems to agree. Or do these numbers come from there?

Worldometer only reports what's published by government official figures.

62 death from 11000 infected. Holy s.hit.
