US SS Survivor benefits

My wife and I are both collecting US Social Security retirement benefits. I collect more than her, so when I die, she will be able to collect the amount I am getting.  (Survivor benefits)  I've searched the internet, but I can't find out how she should apply to change her benefit amount.

 

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
