People who want to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at the Central Vaccination Centre at Bang Sue grand station in Bangkok can now choose the vaccine type. Those getting booster shots can choose either intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, according to a recent announcement from the vaccination centre.

Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Sinovac vaccines are available at the site for free for all Thai and non-Thai nationals, either through advanced bookings via mobile phone operators or walk-in.

Those who pre-book can go straight to vaccination, without registration, after receiving a form for completion.

The walk-in procedure is very simple and quick. I went to Bang Sue for my fourth shot with no appointment, and was in and out in about 50 minutes, including the 30 minute observation period following the injection.
