Crime Tourist Stabbed in Patong Over 60-Baht Fruit Dispute
I like the sign I saw in a pizza joint - sour dough pizzas. Order and pay first! That keeps the buyer sitting and eating there or taking it away but in any case, the restaurant doesn't have to worry about those that eat and run before paying. -

Tish James & Adam Schiff, Lawyer Up. Accountability Cometh news.
Schiff just has to show that both homes were occupied on and off, year-round and neither was a vacation property. Sounds like another big fat nothing burger. -

Community Tourist Rescued After Threatening to Jump from Pattaya Hotel
Picture courtesy of Pattaya Rescue. A dramatic rescue unfolded on the afternoon of 9 August, when a foreign tourist was spotted precariously standing on the edge of a balcony at a beachfront hotel in Pattaya, apparently threatening to jump. Hotel staff and guests were left shocked as the man, believed to be in his mid-30s, climbed onto the balcony railing of his high-floor room, gripping the outer edge while staring down at the street below. Eyewitnesses said he appeared agitated and was speaking incoherently. Security personnel rushed to the scene and alerted Pattaya City Police and emergency services. Officers and rescue workers arrived within minutes and began negotiating with the man from inside the room, while others stood ready with safety equipment below. After nearly 30 tense minutes, police managed to pull the man back to safety. He was immediately escorted to the hotel lobby, where medics assessed his physical condition before transferring him to a local hospital for further evaluation. Authorities have not released the man’s identity or nationality but confirmed that he was a registered guest at the hotel. Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the incident, including whether alcohol, drugs or personal problems may have been factors. Hotel management praised the swift response of staff and emergency teams, which prevented what could have been a fatal tragedy. Adapted by Asean Now from Pattaya Rescue 2025-08-09
