BANGKOK, May 23 (TNA) – Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon who is the leader of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) said that his party would consider reasons behind its loss in the Bangkok gubernatorial and council elections on May 22.

Reporters sought his comments on PPRP's victory of only two seats in the Bangkok Council and asked if the local election results would have any significance on the party's opportunities in the next general election.

And more 'we know what's best, just do as you're told'.

No one likes your government Prawit, and they certainly don't like your handpicked candidates.....move on and leave before you decide Tanks are needed on the streets.

My guess would be they did not smear the opponent enough.

That or PPRP sounds more like someone breaking wind than a political party

Oh no the people might have woken up to you and your generals time for another coup

It is a bit late for that... THey had 7 years time to do a good performence but they failed on everything, and before the committee has found out what went wrong, the new elections are done already next year..

Maybe he should borrow a few amulets from a dead friend, can't have him borrowing watches again now can we.

Moves are already afoot to find any reason to disqualify the winner I'd wager.

You're biggest "mistake" was allowing people to vote, exposing how much you and your cronies are detested by the electorate.

Given your anti-democratic history, illegal theft of power etc. I'm surprised you made such an elementary error. I can only assume you were delusional about your popularity. Now you know where you stand.

What time is it general .. time to go before you end up some ones dead friend ????

All this waffle from a man whose boss isn't even an MP and is also to cowardly to stand before the voters and put his case to the citizens to be PM or even their representative.

An ostrich mentally from the usurpers yet again.

Not enough hand picked Senators involved in the vote?

This is a massive loss. In a traditionally yellow city, a former minister of Yingluck has been elected governor, and the PTP gets the highest number of council seats (20), 10 times more than the PPP (2)! ????

They'll have to get these pesky political parties dissolved before the next general  election.

Emphasis on the word "general"!

Considering his dislike for the man who won the Bkk city election I'm quite suprised / shocked that nothing was done to ensure he didn't win the election.
