Thousands of flag-waving Israelis have marched through Muslim areas of East Jerusalem's Old City in an event seen as highly provocative by Palestinians.

 

The Palestinian presidency said Israel was "playing with fire". It comes at a time of particularly high tensions following months of deadly incidents.

 

The march celebrates Israel's capture of East Jerusalem in the 1967 war.

The number of marchers was in its thousands , that is a small percentage of the 10 million Israelis , he 1000s of marchers are  hardly representative of 10 Million Israelis

Sure, there is a minority in Israel who oppose the anti-Palestinian fervor. A minority. Netanyahu and Bennett didn't get voted in on happenstance.

We are talking about a group of people who deliberately wave Israeli flags to antagonize Palestinians , we aren't talking about which political party Israelis voted for
