stubuzz
The car i am buying is fitted with LPG and it is registered in the book. However, will i need a separate LPG inspection before i can register the car in my name?
VocalNeal
Depends on how old the car is ( more than 7 years i believe) and whether it was inspected already. Not a big deal though. Local DLT office can tell you where to get (it inspected) an inspection certificate. Yes a few more hoops to jump through but it wouldn't discourage me if I had already decided to buy the car. You might also , depending on age and type of LPG system, to get the filter cleaned. This is done at any mechanic displaying an LPG sign. Depends of course on where you live.
