OC, nuffin wrong wiv "69" ers.

The 69 Ford Fairlane was a neat vehicle.

I have '71 Fairlane for my fair lady, huge back seat, not good doggie fashion.

Any you guys a FORD fan?

.....or are you dawgie style fans?

Posted

Dawgie? I have a very good, loyal dog. The dog follows me everywhere - always at my foot. Wonderful animals, dogs. Why do you ask Pete - do you prefer cats? (Okay, okay, I was going to say sheep, but I didn't, did I!)

Posted

Ya close with cats? Ping.

Dogs are companions of excellence.

Pussies are wot gets me up and going.

Wot do you need to get up and going? Peoples

Posted

I used to have a pussy (before the operation)... no, I had a cat once and I put up with it but never grew attached to the thing. It was next to useless. Just used to sit there and preen itself. Lucky we didn't have any mice, because there is no way known the cat would have bothered with them. And have you ever heard a cat bark? Neither have I! The dog is totally different. Alert and has a good loud bark (and probably not a bad bite, I'd imagine). And the greatest benefit of all - it chases cats away!

Only useful felines are......

2 legged pussies, preferably with brazilian non-hair style.

Fellas, Wotcha reckon?

(Must not forget da question, eh Ping?)

Thx Ping, when I'm not running cover for Alex, that's another of my hobbies.

If she could turn hre head a bit, men might be obsolete...

What do you think Pete??? :o

Nice Gamps.

Reckon I am gunna hafta find a pic of my trusty steed and post it.

I love the attention my beast gets, not many in NZ, I have only seen 2 of the model I have.

Dad bought it Xmas 1970, $A9,300 bucks, still have the receipt.

Love dragging the streets, do you?

Dear very well respected TV members and contribitors to this magnificent thread.

First of all I apologise for not posting here the other days as I was elsewhere where no Internet is available.

Ping, you where thinking about the picture I posted about the Chinese soldiers carrying Monk robes.

Yes they did change into them and started riots. (You wanna have more proof?).

Very long story but please accept these kinda things are being done by governments.

A lot of people and money involved.

It is all about the Olympics.

For the hidden messages I would say, check out who is involved in the six party talks for Russia (SU, means Soviet Union).

Remember I mentioned SU?

All these negotiations are being done by people that are never mentioned in the MSM.

No problem, I like my work.

Today they told me they have good supply for me.

Surprise I said, trying to correct them, yes good supply and their thumbs up.

Where do we go I asked.

Go North they replied.

Was I going to meet Kim Jong Ill. I was thinking.

Anyway after a 3 hours drive they took me to some hotel.

Have good sauna they told me.

Go room and take off clothes and go in sauna, relax.

And so I did, nice sauna and nobody there.

After half an hour I decided it was enough an wanted to take a cold shower.

Took a nice cold shower and then..........

Where are my clothes and towel?

Gone......

Entire room filled with steam, I could not see a thing.

Suddenly I could feel a presence, sniffing me.

I kept calm and not moved a thing, could be a bear or wild dog, right?

As soon as the steam dissapeared I could see the long black haired individual, sniffing me.

Kimmy, Kimmy, she was shouting.

Kimchy, Kimchy I replied trying to correct her pronouncation as she was obviously trying to relate to the national food here in Korea.

Kimmy, Kimmy she replied, I followed again with mentioning the Kimchy.

Boot Boot she said, I said no! Good is what you mean.

Kimchy is Good I was telling.

The next moment she jumped on me and put her legs around me.

Pressing her lower body against me.

I was thinking she must be a professional wrestler as she was holding me in a tight grip

Took me a while to get rid of her as she was screaming and shouting all kind of things while moving the lower part of her body.

Does anyone of yo have any idea why she kept on those boots?

Below a picture of Kimmy,

:D Oh yea....not many Fairlanes or Torinos around here either, pretty rare but always get asked about it. Everybody got Mustangs. (yawn) :o

And Alex, I hope all your extra testicular activities won't affect your work, will they?? :D

Posted

Oh, and the bottoms of those boots look like my work boots. She probably wears them to throw people off her trail when she's being tracked. :o Would you be suspecting her if you were following those tracks?? :D

Posted

Unfortunately, testicular endeavours are off the horizon for awhile.

I am on therapy for prostate cancer, they chemically castrate ya, trying to kill off active cancer cells, which feed on testosterone.

Neva care, life goes on, should be over it by October...... if not too bad.

Blotty business cuts into ones fun, and mostly, my ability to travel much at present.

It turns a guy into a katoey, PMPL. :D

Ya wanna see my boobies growing?.....

:o .......... :D ............ :D ........... :D

Am I safe from Alex?

Check out 'Zoladex' in Google

Posted

Sorry about the decreased "activities" there Pete.

I reckon you're safe from Alex, as long as you stay inside... :o

Are you experiencing vaginal dryness, breast swelling and tenderness, loss of menses? If not, thumbs up mate. :D

October will be here before long, just keep cruising in the '71 till then, ok?

Posted

Yep, nasty business to be going through Pete, but keep your chin up, you will be through it all in no time.

My previous post was right on topic - answering a question with a question. (It's just that my question was not actually a question.)

Confused? There - that's a question!

Posted

Thanks for your concern Gamps.

As I said to Ping, waay back, life goes on regardless, gunna enjoy it too.

I dug up a pic, do you like my beastie?

A lot of people, including Ockors, ask me......

"How come you are driving around with Victorian rego plates?"

Does the plate look Victorian to you?

I could not quite recall wot they looked like exactly, if not, why not?

(WOW, all questions....lol)

To answer your number plate questions. All writing/numbers of the Garden State plates (while Jeff Kennet was premier of Victoria) were green on a white background. Prior to them, plates were white on black (not the reverse). After the greens, blue on white. The plates have never had a red border. Thus, the colour scheme of the plates is totally wrong. The number LBT 073 would date registration to around early 1972 - at a rough guess, February?

Ta Ping.

I knew I was way out.

Vic plates have a gap between letters and numbers too, not allowed here, unless there is an "I" on the plate sumplace..

The original Vic plates are still on the car, (behind NZ plates), which was purchased about Xmas 1970, but FORD called it 1971, as was the practice those days. Holden too.

Both firms put new models out a month or so before the years end, called them next year's model.

There are small silver fern holograms on the NZ personal plates, they show in a photo, but hard to see otherwise.

There was a plate with wording, something like that one, but could not recall it properly, let alone the year.

Still funny when some Aussie asks though.

Note, I googled the plate numbers.

Seems LAA 000 on were issued from Nov, 1972.

They could have been changed for some reason.

Must rack my poor old brains and see if I am able to recall something.

I have the receipts, cost $9,000.00 plus.

My dad chucked out nothing.....need a question..... ummmmmmmmm

What was/are, your dads like?

Posted

Are you sure about that? If so, the Google advice was incorrect. LAA commenced Nov 1971, DEFINITELY not Nov 72. I had a car LAB *** - registered Nov 71.

Yo, T

Why did ya change ur Avator?

(Liked the other much more).

Anyway lot of things happening here but I will not bother ya all. (for the moment, ha ha ).

Peace ya all!

Bugga, not able to find where I discovered the first list of plates.

For more definite info, I searched VicRoads.......

http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Regist...rdNumberPlates/

Not very explicit, but tis a guide, and must be pretty correct.

I cannot fathom it out at all, what happened with the plates on my dad's Ford.

Nice to see ya Ping !
